Symbol Definitions

+	is:	Addition.
-	is:	Subtraction.
*	is:	Multiplication. This site will never use X or x for multiplication because they are often used as variables and it can be confusing.
/	is:	Division.
÷	is:	Division.
≈	is:	Approximately equal to. Used most often when rounding numbers.
π	is:	PI. Approximately equal to (≈) 3.14 or ²²/₇.
>	is:	Greater than; as in: 6 > 4; 6 is greater than 4.
<	is:	Less than.
>	is:	Greater than or equal to.
<	is:	Less than or equal to.
